Maine Forest Rangers in the House

Maine Forest Rangers came to the State House today to show support for LD 297, an bill that would allow these hard-working, certified law enforcement officials to be armed. Currently, they are the only law enforcement officials in the state who are prohibited by statute to carry a firearm for their protection in the in the line of duty.

Maranacook Community High School Chorus in the House

The Maranacook Community High School Chorus sang a beautiful version of the National Anthem in the House Chamber this morning after they serenaded, in perfect harmony, the halls of the State House with popular ballads like "Danny Boy."
